Evan will be based in Kama Lounge, overlooking the beautiful white sands of Natadola Bay and support the overall direction across all restaurants and bars as well as Club InterContinental. The resort will leverage his expertise and experience to further educate and develop the team in the art of mixology; of the different products and the creation of new cocktails infused with local ingredients adding to the Kama Lounge cocktail menu. Evan comes with strong pedigree within the bar and beverage management. He has worked in some of Australia’s best cocktail bars including Le Bon Ton – Collingwood (Time Out Melbourne voted Best New Bar 2015) and Black Pearl – Fitzroy (ranked #7 in Drinks International’s Worlds 50 Best Bars 2013.
Evan’s experience, knowledge and skills has seen him receive multiple accolades and awards including Time Out Magazine (Melbourne) Bartender of the Year 2014 and ALIA (Australian Liquor Industry Awards) Bartender of the Year 2013. These awards recognized Evan’s involvement and recognition of efforts, dedication to hard work and outstanding performance on an international level within the hospitality industry.
