Guests were invited to give as part of the resorts ‘Light Up A Life’ initiative. With a unique Christmas tree made from driftwood and shells collected from Natadola Bay, Polaroid photos of guests who made donations were displayed as decorations on the tree. In less than 24 hours, more than $700 was raised for the local community care fund. Also spreading the message of peace and goodwill, Santa arrived via boat on Christmas morning and surprised children with woven baskets filled with goodies.
“The response and support from our guests has been overwhelming,” says General Manager Scott Williams. “It is so fantastic to see such positive spirit through-out the festive season.”
