As part of this meaningful experience, you and your partner are invited to join a Coral Planting Safar during your wedding stay. Held on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Sundays, the Coral Planting Safari will let you discover firsthand how your wedding is helping protect Fiji’s coral reefs, supporting marine life, and contributing to the local community for generations to come. You’ll be able to return to Fiji in future years to see the progress of the coral rope that was sponsored in celebration of your love.

Fiji Marriage Requirements

Weddings in Fiji are legally binding and is recognised for both residents and visitors to Fiji. Find out more about Fiji’s marriage requirements here.

GETTING MARRIED IN FIJI

To get married in Fiji you will need:

  • A valid copy of your birth certificates and your valid passports
  • A single status declaration is required by Fijian law
  • If divorced, then you will require a copy of the decree nisi / divorce certificate (if divorced for more than 3 years, a single status declaration is also needed)
  • If the bride or groom is under 21 then a written consent from parents or guardians is also required

Kindly be advised that weddings are not usually conducted in Fiji on Sundays and public holidays unless special arrangements are made.

We offer a wide range of indoor and outdoor venues for your ceremony and celebration. Choose our intimate wedding pavilion with views of Natadola Bay, or marry on our white sandy beach under the crimson rays of a memorable Pacific sunset.

Our “Loloma” ( Love ) wedding pavilion has majestic views of the Pacific Ocean that make your wedding day more magical. Reception venues include our spectacular beachfront settings or spacious Natadola Ballroom.

A boy’s golf afternoon has long been the traditional way to bond before a wedding: Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course is the perfect venue. 

The groom and his guests can enjoy 9 or 18 holes of championship golf while enjoying refreshments from the well-stocked on-course beverage cart. After the round, players can relax in the golf club bar and restaurant as they take in spectacular ocean views and experience friendly Fijian service.
