InterContinental Fiji Sends Talent To Australia

As a result of InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa’s ‘Room to Grow’ program, the resort has proudly announced Krishneel Prasad’s secondment to the Holiday Inn Darwin team earlier this week.

After joining the Front Office department as Night Auditor, Mr. Prasad’s commitment to delivering excellence, saw him being promoted to Duty Manager six months into his role. Now, having been with InterContinental Fiji for two years, Mr. Prasad’s dedication to his training and personal development goals has rewarded him with a three month appointment as Duty Manager at the Holiday Inn Darwin.

“I take my work to heart and am looking forward to learning as much as I can while abroad,” says Mr. Prasad. “This is an amazing opportunity and I am beyond excited!”

Achieved through on-the-job reviews, personal development plans, structured learning, and the IHG job referral program, ‘Room to Grow’ IHG supports and develops their people to pursue rewarding careers.

“We make it our priority to ensure the success of our employees’ both here in Fiji and abroad,” says General Manager, Scott Williams. “We are extremely proud of Krishneel, and although he will be missed, this is a great opportunity in fulfilling his career ambitions and developing his career with IHG.”
